No two journeys look exactly alike, so we design our process around your unique needs. Whether you're pursuing egg donation, surrogacy, sperm donation, or a combination, we guide families with a dedication to personalized, expert care.
From the first consultation to your child’s birthdate, our team handles the communication, coordination, and every complexity in between. Here’s how your journey begins.
Starting with Genesis
Once you submit your intended parent application, we'll schedule a one-on-one consultation to learn about your needs and expectations, walk you through our process, and answer any questions you have about the journey ahead. We’ll also walk you through our private database of Genesis donors and surrogates.
Using our Database
You'll build a parent profile alongside our team with a short bio, what you're looking for in a donor and/or surrogate, and a few personality questions to help us get to know you. From there, you can browse our private database while our team actively recommends individuals we believe could be a great fit.
Finding Your Match
Once you’re interested in a donor and/or surrogate, our team will facilitate a match meeting by video call, in person, or whatever feels most comfortable to you. You’ll be able to connect with your potential match, discuss your preferences and expectations, and mutually decide whether to move forward.
Funding the Journey
Before your journey begins, you'll fund a third-party escrow account to ensure everything is financially in place. We never hold in-house escrow and rely on trusted partners to keep the process secure, ethical, and free of any conflict of interest.
Clinic Approval
Every donor and surrogate in our program has already passed a rigorous review of medical records by licensed specialists, a background check, and a psychological screening. Before any medications or appointments begin, they'll also pass a second screening at your IVF clinic to confirm they meet specific fertility benchmarks.
Legal Clearance
Once your donor or surrogate is medically cleared by your clinic, your AAARTA-certified attorney will draft the legal agreements between you and them for review and signature. Everything is documented and protected before any more appointments or fertility medications begin.
Appointments & Procedures
After all of the financial, medical, and legal prerequisites have been met, your egg donor or surrogate will begin attending appointments or starting fertility medication cycles. Sperm donors will attend their initial appointment and deposit. During this phase, your dedicated case manager coordinates every step so nothing slips through the cracks.

There are two ways to gain access to our database. You can complete a quick questionnaire online, and a Genesis representative will contact you shortly to activate your account so you can view our donors and surrogates.
The second option is to call our office directly at (310) 550-6889. Our team will be happy to help guide you through the questionnaire and provide you with a username and password to log in. -
Egg donors, sperm donors, and surrogates are matched on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you have identified a potential candidate you’d like to move forward with, please reach out to a Genesis team member as soon as possible to express your interest.
Even if you’re still deciding, we encourage you to contact us so we can confirm the candidate’s availability and answer any questions you may have. We always welcome any communication and value the opportunity to answer questions or concerns directly.

If you do not find a perfect match in our current database, we have a dedicated marketing team that specializes in placing advertisements based around your unique needs. We are happy to direct our efforts towards your criteria and search for a donor or surrogate at no additional cost to you.

We highly recommend working with an attorney, and we are happy to provide advice and assistance while you secure the right partner. Laws in the fertility industry are not settled, and it is not a good idea to move forward without proper representation.
Our egg donors, sperm donors, and surrogates are all required to have an attorney in every cycle.
